Temporary Data Administrator
A fantastic opportunity for a highly organised, detail-oriented Data Administrator to join a busy, fast-paced team!
Are you confident working with large datasets, advanced Excel and data reconciliation? Do you have a keen eye for detail and enjoy investigating discrepancies, improving data accuracy and ensuring important deadlines are met?
We're looking for a proactive Data Administrator to support data operations, customer reporting and revenue protection. This is a varied role where you'll play a key part in ensuring supplier data is accurate, billing is completed on time and key account reporting is reliable.
Key Responsibilities
-
Collate and validate monthly supplier weight and service data, ensuring all information is complete and accurate.
-
Process data through the data matching tool, investigating unmatched records and making necessary corrections before uploading to internal systems.
-
Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to resolve discrepancies and follow up on missing information.
-
Ensure monthly data processing is completed within deadlines, maintaining clear records of adjustments and recurring issues.
-
Complete manual billing for non-standard services, Β£0 sale orders, overweight charges and additional tonnage to protect revenue.
-
Prepare accurate weight and service data for key account reporting, responding to queries from account managers.
-
Provide administrative support to the commercial team, including preparing data sheets for mass uploads.
-
Communicate data issues and changes promptly to relevant stakeholders, helping to maintain accurate reporting and efficient processes.
About You
You'll be a methodical, analytical and solutions-focused individual who takes ownership of their work and thrives in a deadline-driven environment.
You'll ideally have:
-
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas and pivot tables.
-
Experience working with large datasets, data matching, reconciliation or data validation tools.
-
Strong analytical skills and commercial awareness, with the ability to identify and resolve data and billing discrepancies.
-
Exceptional attention to detail and a logical, process-driven approach.
-
Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage monthly deadlines.
-
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
-
A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to identify recurring issues and help prevent them in the future.
The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data and wants to make a real contribution to business operations. You'll be trusted to take ownership of key processes, support accurate customer reporting and help ensure that services delivered are correctly recorded and billed.
If you're an Excel-savvy, detail-driven administrator who enjoys problem-solving and working collaboratively across teams, we'd love to hear from you!
