We are seeking an experienced and reliable Legal Secretary to provide administrative support to a small legal consultancy in Blackheath. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and organised individual who enjoys a traditional legal office environment.
The role will primarily involve audio typing (approximately 80% of the workload), alongside general secretarial and administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Audio typing and producing accurate legal documents and correspondence.
- Formatting, proofreading and checking documents for accuracy.
- Providing general secretarial and administrative support.
- Handling confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the office.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience in a Legal Secretary or similar secretarial role.
- Strong audio typing skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Good written English and document formatting skills.
- Highly organised, reliable and able to work independently.
- Professional and comfortable working within a small, traditional legal office.
This is an ongoing temporary opportunity offering two days per week, every Thursday and Friday, with a rate of £20 per hour plus holiday pay.
