Overview

Temporary Customer Service Representative - Birmingham
£13.50 per hour plus accrual of holiday pay
4 months
Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm or 10am - 6pm
Saturday 9am - 5pm - (1/2 to be worked with a day off midweek)
Office based
Valid DBS required
Immediate availability needed

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day processing of visa applications and renewals, including greeting customers, supporting completion and checking of applications, obtaining biometric data and other documentation. Follow an established filing and administration process guided by a computer-based system.
  • Engage with applicants to provide a positive service and handle customer complaints diplomatically and assertively.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrable experience in a customer service role engaging directly with the public; experience in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
  • DBS required as part of the screening process. A copy of your certificate will need to be provided.
