A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a temporary Accounts Payable Assistant to manage and oversee the accounts payable functions within a finance department. Key Responsibilities:- Process and manage supplier invoices, ensuring correct coding, approval, and authorisation for payment.
- Review supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies, ensuring all invoices are paid on time.
- Prepare and process payments to suppliers via BACS or cheque in line with company policies.
- Assist in maintaining the accounts payable ledger and ensure accurate posting of transactions.
- Collaborate with the finance team to support monthly and year-end reconciliations.

- Manage and reconcile petty cash transactions as part of the daily accounts payable procedures.
