Full Time Fully Remote 12 month contract 270 - 288 per day PAYE. My client is a global publishing organisation, looking for an experienced Communications Manager to join their team. This position will be pivotal in managing key internal moments (e.g., townhalls, leadership events, business updates), sourcing and developing regular stories about the business for internal audiences, running colleague communications through the relevant platforms, and driving improvements to make it a more useful and engaging destination for colleagues.
From time to time, this position will provide coordination support for external communications materials (e.g., FAQs and briefing documents) and establish measurement and reporting across both internal and external channels. The role requires a candidate with extensive experience working within Internal Corporate Communications.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Own end-to-end production and delivery of internal communications events and milestones (e.g., townhalls and regular business updates), including scheduling, technical set-up, run-of-show support, recording management, post-event communications and feedback/surveys.
- Manage internal communications publishing and approvals workflows, including proactive stakeholder follow-up, version control, and ensuring materials are ready on time and to a high standard.
- Deliver internal email communications through the relevant platform(s), including sending, tracking performance, and maintaining accurate, well-targeted distribution lists.
- Evaluate and implement improvements to internal channels (e.g., enterprise social platforms) to strengthen reach, engagement and two-way communication.
- Lead the refresh and ongoing management of the intranet presence, including a practical improvement plan, content updates, and governance to keep information current and useful.
- Develop briefing packs and leader toolkits to support effective cascades (e.g., leadership meeting follow-ups, significant changes, priority launches), aligned to agreed messaging.
- Build and maintain a practical measurement and reporting dashboard across internal and external channels, providing insight and recommendations to improve effectiveness.
This role will be an immediate start, and will look at candidates who have less than a 2 week notice period.
