Our client, a highly regarded and prestigious independent school, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented HR Payroll Officer to join their established team. Acting as a key point of contact for HR, payroll, and pensions queries, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth running of HR operations across the school.

  • HR Administration Advisory
    • Acting as the first point of contact for HR-related queries
    • Managing the day-to-day administration of the HR system (Every HR)
    • Coordinating pre-employment checks in line with safeguarding requirements
    • Supporting senior leadership, including Headteachers and the COO, on employee relations matters
    • Preparing job descriptions and recruitment packs
  • Payroll
    • Managing the payroll process in line with policies and deadlines
    • Collating and submitting payroll data to an outsourced provider
    • Reviewing payroll reports and resolving discrepancies
    • Ensuring compliance with pay regulations, including National Minimum Wage
