Do you enjoy working with Senior Stakeholders in the business? If yes, please read on. My client is a global commodity organisation looking for a Head of PR to join their dynamic team. The role: Reporting to the CEO and working as part of the marketing leadership team, this role will manage all global media relations, employee engagement, brand strategy, and implementation. This role will help lead the strategic development and direction to increase brand awareness and reputation across key markets globally. This means the role will be part of a team creating an integrated experience, collaborating with product, sales, and strategy to deliver a strong and coherent brand strategy and narrative to our people and our customers. The role also leads the development and delivery of the organisation’s global media strategy and corporate narrative and supports the delivery of regional media engagement across EMEA, Americas, and APAC. Results will be geared towards building positive media coverage of the company’s market expertise and capabilities across tier one and trade media, including broadcast, radio, and increasingly podcasts. Key Responsibilities: Define, deliver, and govern the brand narrative and ensure brand ‘stickiness’ both internally and externally. Manage budgets with the ability to make sound business decisions to invest and use budget appropriately. Manage and develop solid media relations with key journalists while managing PR agencies. Ability to effectively influence internal stakeholders to understand the global brand and its approach to teamwork and collaboration to generate media coverage. Confidently identify media hooks and/or explore media stories working with market experts to brainstorm and develop media pitches. Skills Required: 10+ years of experience working in media relations, external communications, or corporate communications. Experience developing brand strategies and corporate narratives. Can effectively work with various stakeholders to develop media pitches and formulate a calendar of activity anticipating media hooks.
