Our client, a leading Education provider & venue in London, is looking for an experienced Events and Engagement Officer to help organise and manage key stakeholder/flagship events. This is a pivotal role which will see you organising a variety of events with a diverse range of stakeholders and partners, to help increase the organisation\’s profile, which in turn will raise awareness and reach a broader audience.
Reporting to the Director of Stakeholder Engagement, the events programme provides a wealth of cultural experience and entertainment. The organisation is supportive, collaborative and diverse. We are looking for an engaging events professional with super communication and organisation skills, who has a real thirst for personal development and can take the initiative to get things done. The ideal candidate will have previous experience with organising professional events, proven experience of working to budgets and enjoy engaging with a broad range of stakeholders, confidentially.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organising our key stakeholder/flagship events throughout the year
- Producing detailed proposals for events (e.g. timelines, venues, suppliers, legal obligations, staffing and budgets)
- Working closely with the Marketing Department to create marketing and media content for flagship events
- Creating Eventbrite pages to promote prime events, where appropriate
- Securing and booking a suitable space, venue or location (internal/external)
- Arranging travel/accommodation as and when required
- Managing and responding to correspondence in a timely and effective way
- Liaising appropriately with visitors, suppliers and partners
- Maintaining levels of confidentiality in line with GDPR
- Agreeing to, and managing budgets
