We are looking for a friendly, professional, and organised Receptionist / Front of House Assistant to join a busy community centre in the West End.
This is a varied and people-focused role where you will be the first point of contact for visitors, service users, and members of the community. You will need to be confident dealing with a wide range of people and able to remain calm, helpful, and proactive throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcoming visitors and providing a friendly front-of-house service
- Answering queries and directing people to the appropriate services
- Booking appointments, rooms, and activities
- Managing the reception area and ensuring it is kept organised
- Answering calls and responding to general enquiries
- Taking messages and passing information to the relevant team members
- Supporting with general administration and data entry
- Dealing with a wide range of people in a professional and respectful manner
About You:
- Previous reception, customer service, or front-of-house experience
- Friendly, approachable, and confident personality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Organised with good attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a busy, people-facing environment
- Able to deal sensitively and professionally with a diverse range of individuals
- A valid xgikmsk Enhanced DBS check is required for this role
