Temporary Customer Service Supervisor - Bristol
Location: Bristol
Pay: £17.43 per hour plus holiday pay
Duration: 3 months
Hours: 8am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday
Requirement: Valid DBS Certificate
Start: Immediate availability essential
Available immediately? Looking for a role where you will lead the day-to-day operations of a contact centre, ensuring excellent customer service, strong team performance and the achievement of operational targets. You'll support continuous improvement initiatives while helping to create a positive and collaborative working environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading, coaching, and developing a team to deliver high-quality service.
- Acting as an escalation point for complex customer and application queries.
- Monitoring performance and supporting the achievement of service and quality targets.
- Conducting one-to-ones, appraisals, and regular team meetings
- Handling customer escalations professionally and effectively
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance operational performance
What We're Looking For
You'll thrive in this role if you have:
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience in a customer service or contact centre environment.
- Strong knowledge of customer service best practices.
- Experience coaching and developing staff to improve performance and quality.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and related systems
- A proactive, adaptable, and customer-focused approach with the ability to perform under pressure.
A valid DBS certificate is required as part of the screening process.
