Hybrid working - 3-4 days in the office.

Our client, a successful online retailer, is looking for an organised and proactive HR Assistant to support the Head of Human Resources & Operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with HR administration or coordination experience who is looking to develop their career in a fast-paced and people-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support recruitment activities, including posting vacancies and coordinating interviews
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems
  • Assist with onboarding and new starter administration
  • Prepare HR documentation, including contracts and offer letters
  • Support payroll by providing employee data
  • Respond to employee queries on HR policies and procedures
  • Coordinate training and development activities
  • Assist with performance management processes
  • Support employee engagement and HR projects
  • Ensure compliance with UK employment legislation and company policies

About You

  • Previous experience in an HR Assistant, HR Administrator or similar role
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Excellent communication and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally
  • Good knowledge of UK employment law and HR practices
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems
