Our client, a progressive and forward-thinking finance company based in the City, is seeking a polished, personable and professional Front of House / Office Manager to support their London office of approximately 70 employees. This role would suit someone who takes pride in their presentation, is highly customer-focused, naturally engaging and approachable, and who thrives in a varied front-of-house role with broader office management responsibilities within a professional corporate setting.
The ideal candidate will bring proven receptionist, office management, and administrative experience, and will genuinely enjoy the pace, visibility and responsibility that comes with such a role. You will be confident managing a high standard of service independently, acting as a key point of contact for the office, while remaining proactive, organised and adaptable in a friendly yet fast-moving environment.
Far more than a traditional reception role, this position plays a vital part in the smooth day-to-day running of the office. You will be at the heart of the business, supporting internal teams, ensuring the office operates efficiently, and creating a welcoming, professional experience for clients, visitors and colleagues alike.
- Reception Duties
- Acting as the first point of contact for all visitors, ensuring a warm, professional and welcoming experience at all times
- Managing incoming calls, screening and directing enquiries efficiently
- Coordinating meeting room bookings and ensuring rooms are prepared to a high standard
- Managing incoming and outgoing post, couriers and deliveries
- Providing administrative support to various teams across the business as required
- Assisting with diary coordination and meeting arrangements
- Maintaining office records and supporting internal processes
- Supporting onboarding processes for new starters, including access passes and desk set-ups
- Assisting with the day-to-day running of the office, ensuring it is well-presented and fully stocked
- Liaising with facilities providers, cleaners, building management and other external suppliers
- Monitoring office supplies and placing orders as required
- Reporting maintenance issues and following up to ensure timely resolution
- Supporting health & safety procedures and office compliance requirements
