A prestigious high‑end jewellery designer, based in the heart of Belgravia, London, is seeking an experienced and detail‑oriented Part‑time Accounts Assistant to join its friendly team. Key Responsibilities
- Process sales and purchase invoices
- Reconcile client deposits and other receipts
- Update cash books and post transactions to Sage
- Prepare and process supplier payment runs
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Post credit card transactions and payroll journals
- Prepare annual accounts to review stage
- Prepare and submit VAT returns
- Complete pension submissions
- Produce internal financial and management reports
- Maintain accurate financial records and support the smooth running of the finance function
About You
- Proven bookkeeping or accounts experience in a similar role
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills
- Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities
- A high level of computer literacy and experience using accounting software
- Proficiency in Sage is essential
- The ability to work accurately, efficiently and meet deadlines
- A logical, methodical approach to problem‑solving
- An understanding of the importance of security when working within a business handling high‑value items
- A professional, discreet manner with a strong appreciation for client confidentiality
