Our client is a highly successful boutique events and art space based in the West End, offering a unique and fast-paced working environment at the heart of a creative and commercial business. An experienced Office and Facilities Manager will take ownership of the day-to-day operations and HR remit across the business, ensuring the smooth running of both the office and wider operational functions.
Responsibilities:
- Liaise with the landlord regarding building and facilities matters.
- Implement and manage office systems and administrative procedures.
- Build strong relationships with key suppliers.
- Oversee two Administrative Coordinators.
- Provide HR administrative support where needed.
- Act as the key internal point of contact for external HR and Finance providers, escalating complex matters.
- Coordinate operational requirements for the creative team, manage tight deadlines, liaise with international stakeholders, monitor budgets, and ensure smooth relationship management across multiple moving parts.
- Support events and exhibitions, including occasional evening or weekend work.
Qualifications:
- Strong project management skills and ability to work on temporary events and exhibitions.
- All-round operations professional with confidence in working with senior stakeholders.
- Strong troubleshooting skills, thrive in a dynamic environment.
- Experience in the creative sector not essential; bonus for exposure to arts, cultural sector or knowledge of public events/exhibitions.
- Experience in HR administration beneficial.
- Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends.
