Our client is one of the UK's most prestigious gourmet food delivery businesses with a wide range of longstanding customers including corporate companies.
A varied and busy customer support role has arisen, acting as a key conduit throughout the business and building strong relationships with customers via phone and email queries. The role ranges from answering customer queries, managing day to day admin and includes marketing to existing and new customers.
Duties include:
- Managing day to day administration tasks, including order processing, daily shipping documents, customer order communications
- Managing info@ inbox and respond to all customer queries and website contact forms within suitable time frame
- Taking orders over the phone and email, providing first class customer service and upselling products
- Answering all customer queries in a timely, friendly manner
- Dealing with customer complaints in a professional manner, keeping calm during stressful situations, escalate to team where necessary
- Managing courier shipping ensuring all packages arrive on time and troubleshoot any issues with customer service
- Maintaining positive relationships with internal and external members of the team
- Hiring seasonal Christmas support staff and train them
- Supporting marketing with pre-planning marketing schedule
- Sales reporting
- Work with team to ensure smooth daily operations and process improvements
- Consistently update WordPress website with new product categories, following seasonal trends
- Communicate with web team with any website features that need updating
- Editing all automated emails
- Managing corporate orders, building relationships with businesses, creating bespoke orders and gifts
- Outreach to new corporate businesses and existing
The ideal customer service executive will have previous experience in a similar role and ideally an interest in all things foodie! Benefits include free Friday lunch, regular food tastings and the culture is extremely collaborative.
Please note that this role is fully office based and is a short walk to Stratford with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Salary is dependent on experience.
