Padelstars UK is one of the fastest-growing padel operators in the country, with clubs across the UK bringing communities together through the sport we love. Our Taunton site is a thriving outdoor club, and we're looking for a Level 2 Padel Coach who wants to build something special here.
We're not just looking for someone to run drills, we're looking for a magnet for our community. Someone whose energy on court makes people want to come back, bring a friend, and stick with the sport long-term. You'll be central to growing our Taunton community and building genuine player pathways, from complete beginners through to competitive players.
What You'll Do
- Deliver engaging, high-quality coaching sessions for players of all levels and ages
- Design and run coaching programmes that create clear player pathways — helping members progress, stay motivated, and keep coming back
- Act as a welcoming face of the club, building relationships that grow our existing padel community
- Support and help organise social sessions, leagues, and events that bring players together off the court as well as on it
- Represent Padelstars' standards of coaching and customer experience at all times
What We're Looking For
- LTA/PTR Level 2 Padel Coaching qualification (or equivalent)
- A genuine passion for growing the game and building community, not just coaching sessions
- Strong communication skills and the natural ability to connect with players of all abilities
- Resilience and a love of the outdoors, this is an outdoor site, so you'll be coaching in all weather conditions and need to bring energy and enthusiasm whatever the forecast
- A proactive, self-starting attitude, someone who spots opportunities to grow the programme rather than waiting to be told
- Experience running group sessions, junior programmes, or player pathways is a strong plus
- Able to commit to 20 hours per week, with flexibility across evenings/weekends when the club is busiest
- Open to part-time employment or self-employed/freelance coaching arrangements
