Location: Working on location, throughout Europe

Salary: This is a self employed role, $3,000 per month, accommodation, flights, food & laundry included

Explora are searching for a Sports Coach to join the team in a very exciting new position, responsible for the successful delivery of
sports, activities and events on-board an industry-leading Cruise Ship. Explora are committed to delivering industry-leading activities
and events, raising the standard of sports activities in the travel sector.

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Leads and delivers high quality coaching to guests with varying abilities
  • Plans fun, engaging and safe tournaments and sessions to relevant age groups
  • Explains and enforces health and safety rules and regulations
  • Performs regular inventory and upkeep of all equipment and supplies
  • Performs regular health and safety checks of all sports facilities
  • Planning and Coordinating the on-board schedule
  • Drives the creation, development, and delivery of sports and activities for passengers
  • Monitors session insights, using feedback to drive a culture of improvement
  • Continuously evaluates processes and procedures and updates when and where necessary to achieve maximum efficiencies
  • Supports the development of new products and ideas
  • Liaises with on-board representatives to optimise session delivery
    Maintains daily

Qualifications and Skills required:

  • Technical qualifications that can be applied to the role: Minimum L2 Tennis coaching qualification, relevant degree desirable
  • Proven track record in coaching various sports and activities to a high standard
  • Experience in multi-tasking projects, ability to problem-solve
  • Language skills are desirable
  • IT skills such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, or MAC proficient
