Explora are searching for a Sports Coach to join the team in a very exciting new position, responsible for the successful delivery of
sports, activities and events on-board an industry-leading Cruise Ship. Explora are committed to delivering industry-leading activities
and events, raising the standard of sports activities in the travel sector.
Responsibilities of the role:
- Leads and delivers high quality coaching to guests with varying abilities
- Plans fun, engaging and safe tournaments and sessions to relevant age groups
- Explains and enforces health and safety rules and regulations
- Performs regular inventory and upkeep of all equipment and supplies
- Performs regular health and safety checks of all sports facilities
- Planning and Coordinating the on-board schedule
- Drives the creation, development, and delivery of sports and activities for passengers
- Monitors session insights, using feedback to drive a culture of improvement
- Continuously evaluates processes and procedures and updates when and where necessary to achieve maximum efficiencies
- Supports the development of new products and ideas
- Liaises with on-board representatives to optimise session delivery

Qualifications and Skills required:
- Technical qualifications that can be applied to the role: Minimum L2 Tennis coaching qualification, relevant degree desirable
- Proven track record in coaching various sports and activities to a high standard
- Experience in multi-tasking projects, ability to problem-solve
- Language skills are desirable
- IT skills such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, or MAC proficient
