Are you a high-energy people person who loves being in the middle of the action? We’re looking for an Assistant Manager to join a leading leisure and entertainment venue in Leicester. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone from a leisure, hospitality, fitness or customer-focused background who loves leading teams, creating great experiences and working in a fast-paced environment.
This definitely isn’t a role where you’ll spend your day sitting in an office. You’ll be front and centre, supporting the day-to-day operation, motivating your team, engaging with guests and making sure the venue is delivering a brilliant experience from open to close.
You’ll work closely with the General Manager, helping to drive standards, develop the team and keep everything running smoothly across a busy, multi-faceted operation.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for:
- Leading, motivating and developing the team
- Delivering fantastic customer experiences and creating those all-important WOW moments
- Being highly visible across the venue and getting involved when things get busy
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the site
- Helping drive sales and commercial performance
- Supporting food & beverage operations, stock and service standards
- Ensuring health, safety and compliance standards are maintained
- Opening and closing the venue and taking responsibility for shifts
- Creating a fun, positive and energetic environment for both the team and guests
What Are We Looking For?
Above everything else, we’re looking for personality, energy and leadership potential. You’ll ideally have previous supervisory or management experience within leisure or hospitality, although we’re also happy to consider candidates from other fast-paced, customer-facing environments.
You’ll be someone who:
- Loves working with people and delivering brilliant service
- Is confident leading and motivating a team
- Thrives in a busy, high-energy environment
- Is organised and comfortable juggling different priorities
- Has a commercial mindset and understands the importance of driving sales
- Is happy getting stuck in rather than managing from the sidelines
- Wants to develop their career with a growing leisure business
You may currently be working as an Assistant Manager, Duty Manager, Operations Manager, Hospitality Manager, F&B Manager, Guest Experience Manager or Senior Supervisor and be ready for your next move.
Why Join?
This is a fun, fast-paced business where no two days are the same. You’ll have the opportunity to develop your management experience, work across different areas of the operation and build your career within a growing leisure brand.
