Our client is looking for an experienced Central Operations Manager to play a key role in keeping their UK & Ireland operation running smoothly and supporting continued growth. This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll take ownership of systems, processes, operational support, projects and people, working closely with franchisees, internal teams and external partners.
What you'll be doing:
- Managing and improving core operational systems and processes.
- Acting as the first point of escalation for operational issues and seeing problems through to resolution.
- Leading the Member Solutions function and supporting excellent customer service.
- Coordinating day-to-day IT requirements and external technology providers.
- Delivering operational projects and supporting the implementation of new systems and initiatives.
- Using data and insight to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Building strong relationships across the business and ensuring solutions genuinely meet network needs.
What we're looking for:
- 5+ years' experience in operations, systems, project management, business improvement or a similar role.
- Strong operational and project management experience.
- A natural ability to solve problems and improve processes.
- Confidence working with systems, technology and external providers.
- Experience leading and developing people.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience within franchising, multi-site, fitness, retail or another network-based business would be a real advantage.
