Responsibilities:
- Quality Control: Maintain high standards of food and beverage quality, presentation, and service. Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and lead a team of kitchen and front-of-house staff. Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, communication, and excellence in customer service.
- Stock Management: Oversee the GP% for the café, stock control and ordering with an eye on keeping wastage to a minimum.
- Customer Satisfaction: Proactively engage with customers, gather feedback, and address any concerns or issues promptly. Strive to exceed guest expectations and enhance their overall experience.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, food handling regulations, and licensing requirements.
What are we looking for?
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in food and beverage management, preferably in the hospitality or leisure industry.
- A proven ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Strong creative and organisational skills, with the ability to innovate and bring fresh ideas to the table.
- A passion for providing excellent customer service and a commitment to exceeding guest expectations.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with staff and customers.
- Willingness to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Must hold at least a level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 3 Preferable).
