About the Role

We’re looking for a motivated and personable individual to join our team as a Junior Trainer / Pilates Coaching Assistant. This role is designed for someone early in their career who wants to develop strong coaching foundations through direct mentorship and real‑world experience. You’ll initially shadow one of our Lead Trainers, learning how sessions are delivered, how clients are onboarded and how programmes are adapted safely and intelligently. A key part of this role is being trained internally in Classical Pilates both Mat and Reformer, alongside strength and movement coaching principles. Over time, and with the right commitment, you’ll progress towards leading sessions and onboarding clients independently. This is a development role not a sales position.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Shadowing Lead Trainers during 1:1 and small group sessions
  • Assisting with session setup, equipment and client preparation
  • Learning Classical Pilates principles (Mat and Reformer) through supervised practice
  • Supporting client onboarding and session delivery under guidance
  • Gradually taking responsibility within sessions as skills and confidence develop
  • Maintaining high professional standards and client care at all times

Who We’re Looking For

  • Approachable, confident and professional
  • Genuinely interested in movement Pilates and coaching
  • Curious, ambitious and open to structured learning
  • Reliable, punctual and detail‑oriented
  • Comfortable receiving feedback and improving consistently
  • Able to commit to the role with long‑term intent

Previous Pilates experience is not required but a genuine interest in learning Classical Pilates is essential.

Requirements

  • Relevant fitness or movement qualification (or currently studying towards one)
  • Interest in coaching Pilates or physical training
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Willingness to work in‑person and follow structured coaching standards
  • Basic understanding of safe exercise practice

What We Offer

  • Structured mentorship from experienced Lead Trainers
  • In‑house training in Classical Pilates (Mat and Reformer)
  • A clear pathway into independent coaching and client onboarding
  • Exposure to high‑quality client work and professional standards
  • Opportunity to progress into a full‑time role for the right individual
