We’ve been doing this long enough to know that every PT is different. Some are ready to hit the floor with a diary full of clients. Others want to build with a structure that supports them as they go. Either way works for us – so we’ve created a new dual entry model that’ll keep you growing and make Fitness First work just as hard for you.
Route 1: Self-Employed Personal Trainer
The full PT business model – built around your ambitions, your schedule and your clients. This is the path for experienced senior PTs ready to run their own business within one of the UK’s most iconic gym brands. Whether you’re bringing existing clients or simply want to get stuck in, you’ll have the freedom to build, grow and sustain a base – with the support of a premium club environment and our expert team behind you.
What you'll get:

What we're looking for:
- REPs Level 3 Personal Training qualification (essential)

Route 2: Hybrid Personal Trainer
Want the freedom to grow your own business but with the weight of an employed income while you build it? Hybrid’s the one for you. In an industry first, you’ll get the same smooth 6-month rent build and benefits as the full-time self-employed PT model – but this route supersets it with an employed offering of 2 x 5-hour shifts a week. Help run the club, teach classes, engage with members – all while building your profile, client base and additional revenue stream as you do it.
