Regional field-based role, ideally based in the Midlands

Launch, Lead and Grow a Portfolio of Padel Clubs

Our client is one of the UK's fastest-growing padel operators, with a major expansion programme underway and the majority of new clubs opening across the Midlands in 2027.

The Role

You'll take day-to-day operational and P&L responsibility for a regional portfolio of clubs. A key priority will be leading the operational opening of around eight to ten new clubs over the next year. You'll take each site from handover through mobilisation, team training and launch, into early trading and beyond.

You'll also lead, coach and hold Club Managers accountable for commercial performance, team leadership, customer experience, programming, safety and facility standards. The aim is simple: launch well, nail the operation and drive strong commercial results.

Strong padel playing ability is essential.

You’ll need to be credible on court, work closely with Club Managers and coaches, and demonstrate effective session formats. You’ll also give practical feedback that improves introductions, socials, matchplay and coached sessions.

What You'll Be Doing

New Club Launches

  • Lead the operational opening of new clubs, often with several at different stages at once.
  • Set up each club's launch programme of introductions, beginner sessions, socials, coaching courses, competitions and launch events.
  • Recruit, onboard and train Club Managers, coaches and teams so every club is ready from day one.
  • Be a hands‑on presence at new sites before, during and after opening, welcoming new players and building an early community.
  • Help turn first‑time visitors into regular players through great sessions and clear progression pathways.

Coaching & Programme Development

  • Deliver high-quality coaching and demonstrate drills, positioning, scoring and session flow.
  • Recruit, train and mentor coaches so every club delivers a consistent standard.
  • Observe sessions across your region, give practical feedback and follow up where delivery needs to improve.
  • Work with the Programming Coordinator and Club Managers to get the right balance of coaching, socials, leagues and competitions.

Regional Leadership & Performance

  • Own the regional P&L and deliver against commercial and non-commercial KPIs, including revenue, court occupancy, coaching income, costs, customer experience and standards.
  • Lead and coach Club Managers through regular visits, one‑to‑ones and performance reviews, holding them accountable for results.
  • Review performance data and take action quickly where a club or activity underperforms.
  • Share what works across the portfolio so successful initiatives are rolled out consistently.
  • Support community, school and corporate engagement through events and activations.

What We're Looking For

  • A strong standard of padel, with the on‑court credibility to demonstrate, assess and coach.
  • Experience owning a regional or multi‑site P&L and delivering against targets and KPIs.
  • A track record of leading and developing managers and holding them accountable for performance.
  • Multi‑site opening experience, ideally repeated across several sites.
  • Experience delivering successful coaching sessions or programmes.
  • A customer‑focused approach and a real passion for growing participation.
  • Strong organisation, with the ability to manage several clubs and priorities at once.
  • Full UK driving licence, willingness to travel frequently and stay near new clubs for sustained periods, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends when required.

If you're a commercially minded operator who's also a strong padel player, and you'd love to launch and grow new clubs across the Midlands, we'd love to hear from you.
