The Role
As General Manager, you'll have full accountability for the day-to-day operation of the venue, leading a large team to deliver outstanding guest experiences while driving revenue, profitability and operational excellence.
You'll create an engaging culture where people can thrive, ensuring your team is motivated, developed and equipped to deliver consistently high standards.
You'll also play a key role in growing the business through local partnerships, events, community engagement and commercial initiatives.
What You'll Be Doing
- Taking full ownership of the venue's P&L performance.
- Leading, coaching and developing a large management and frontline team.
- Driving revenue growth through exceptional guest experiences and commercial initiatives.
- Managing budgets, labour, stock and operational costs.
- Maintaining the highest standards across customer service, health & safety and venue presentation.
- Building relationships within the local community to increase awareness and generate new business.
- Delivering memorable events and experiences that keep guests coming back.
- Creating a positive, inclusive culture where people feel valued and supported.
What We're Looking For
- Experience as a General Manager, Operations Manager or Senior Leader within leisure, hospitality or a similar customer-focused environment.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets and KPIs.
- A proven track record of leading and developing large teams.
- Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in driving local marketing, partnerships or community engagement would be highly beneficial.
- A natural leader who loves creating brilliant experiences for both customers and colleagues.
