Forget everything you think you know about Finance Controller roles.

This isn't about sitting in the background producing reports.

This is a business that moves fast, thinks big and expects finance to be right at the centre of the action.

We're looking for a commercially driven Finance Controller who loves partnering with operations, leading people and influencing decisions that genuinely shape the business.

If you enjoy working with ambitious people, thrive in a high-energy environment and want to see the direct impact of your work across multiple sites, this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for.

The Opportunity

You’ll join a growing multi‑site business where every day is different.

Working alongside senior operational leaders, you’ll provide the financial insight that helps drive performance, maximise profitability and support continued growth.

You’ll be equally comfortable analysing financial performance, challenging operational decisions and celebrating the successes that come from getting it right.

This is a visible role where you’ll build relationships across the business and become a trusted commercial partner, not just the person producing the numbers.

  • What You’ll Be Doing
  • Leading the monthly management accounts process across a multi‑site operation.
  • Producing insightful reporting, analysis and financial commentary for senior leadership.
  • Partnering with operational teams to improve commercial performance and identify opportunities.
  • Managing budgeting, forecasting and cash flow processes.
  • Ensuring strong financial controls and balance sheet integrity.
  • Driving continuous improvements across finance systems and reporting.
  • Supporting strategic projects and business growth initiatives.
  • Leading, developing and motivating a finance team to deliver exceptional standards.
  • What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who enjoys working at pace and wants to be part of an ambitious business.

You’ll bring

  • Fully qualified ACCA status.
  • Previous experience as a Finance Controller or in a senior finance leadership position.
  • Strong multi‑site finance experience, ideally gained within hospitality, leisure, retail or another fast‑moving consumer business.
  • Experience managing and developing finance teams.
  • Outstanding commercial acumen and the confidence to influence stakeholders at every level.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into meaningful business decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build credibility across operational and senior leadership teams.
  • The flexibility to work from the Kings Cross office twice each week.
  • Why You’ll Love It

This is a business full of energy, ambition and personality.

The pace is quick. The expectations are high. But the atmosphere is collaborative, supportive and genuinely enjoyable.

You’ll be joining a leadership team that values fresh ideas, encourages challenge and gives people the opportunity to make a real impact.

If you’re someone who enjoys rolling your sleeves up, influencing decisions and helping drive a growing business forward, you’ll feel right at home.

This isn’t your average Finance Controller role. It’s an opportunity to become a key part of a business that’s going places.
