We’re supporting the launch of a brand-new studio concept in Surrey and are looking for a Fitness Manager to bring it to life. If you’ve got the energy, ambition, and the vision to lead from the front in a hands-on role, this is your moment.
Role
As Fitness Manager, you’ll take the lead at our first UK flagship site, a pioneering concept that blends fitness, recovery, and personalised wellbeing. You’ll drive the pre-opening membership campaign, lead the team, and deliver innovative programmes that support movement, mindset, recovery, nutrition, and connection.
This isn’t your standard gym. Their offering includes eGym circuits, cryotherapy, infrared saunas, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, and compression, all underpinned by a commitment to longevity and holistic health.
You’ll bring strong leadership, commercial focus, and a deep understanding of health behaviour change. With ambitious UK growth plans in place, this role has clear progression opportunities into a central leadership role for the right person.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive and be 100% accountable for commercial performance to deliver business plan objectives in line with upholding the brand guidelines and delivering an exceptional member experience.
- Provide health education and counselling to members, local community and to support a culture of wellbeing.
- Assess member and organisational wellbeing needs to tailor programmes effectively.
- Collaborate with local healthcare professionals, practitioners, complimentary therapists and internal coaches to optimise services through creating an effective health and wellbeing network in the local community.
- Organise health screenings, workshops, fitness challenges, and mental wellbeing initiatives for members, local businesses and the local community to improve the awareness of the brand and its impact on wellbeing.
- Ensure compliance with UK health and safety regulations and promote best practices.
Essential:
- Fitness and Personal Training qualification to level 3 or above
- Proven experience in health club management, fitness management, employee wellness, or wellbeing programme management
- Strong understanding of mental health, fitness, and nutrition principles
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to develop and manage budgets for the business
Desirable:
- Bachelor\’s degree in Sports and Exercise Science, Nutrition, or a related field
- Level 3 certification for GP and exercise referral
