We are seeking a commercially driven and strategic Business Development Director to lead the vision, growth strategy, and international expansion of an internationally known music & fitness games brand. This is a senior leadership role combining commercial strategy, partnership development, product innovation, and financial oversight. You will identify new growth opportunities, secure high-value partnerships, and develop scalable commercial models that drive sustainable global expansion.
Working closely with senior leadership, you will shape market entry strategies, build revenue frameworks, and ensure the long-term commercial success of the business.
- Commercial Growth & Revenue Strategy
Develop revenue models, business cases, and commercial frameworks to support international expansion. Identify and launch new income streams including merchandising, digital products, and brand extensions. Analyse market opportunities and deliver data-driven pricing, event, and commercial recommendations. Lead commercial growth across partnerships, sponsorships, licensing, and live experiences.
- Business Development & Partnerships
Source, secure, and manage high-value partnerships across fitness, wellness, entertainment, sports organisations, and consumer brands. Establish relationships with host cities, venues, production partners, and commercial operators. Represent the business at industry events, pitches, conferences, and partner meetings. Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify priority territories. Develop commercial models for new market entry, including partnerships, licensing, and franchising. Collaborate with operations and marketing teams to ensure commercial feasibility. Evaluate audience data, cost structures, and revenue potential to guide expansion decisions. Lead pricing, packaging, and format optimisation.
- Commercial Finance & P&L Management
Own key commercial financial metrics including revenue growth, margin performance, and forecasting. Build and maintain financial models and dashboards to support strategic decisions. Monitor financial performance across events, partnerships, and markets. Present clear, data-driven insights to senior leadership. Lead and develop a growing commercial and partnerships team. Set performance goals and build a high-performance, values-driven culture. Identify hiring needs and recruit talent to support scaling.
Proven experience in business development, commercial leadership, or partnerships β ideally within fitness events, entertainment, or live events. Exceptional negotiation and relationship-building skills. Strong commercial modelling, forecasting, and analytical capability. Experience building business cases and evaluating growth opportunities.
