Our client is a well-established leisure and fitness organisation with a strong community presence across South Gloucestershire. They're looking for a commercially-minded Sales & Experience Manager to drive membership growth, sharpen the customer journey, and lead sales performance across their centres.

This is a genuinely broad, high-impact role. You'll be shaping sales strategy from the ground up, using digital tools and data to improve how people join, engage with, and stay loyal to the organisation, and you'll have real influence at senior management level. If you enjoy building systems that work, motivating teams to hit targets, and turning insight into action, this is the sort of role that rewards initiative.

On offer is a genuinely collaborative senior leadership environment, and a role with clear scope to shape strategy and progress within the organisation.

Working pattern: Full time, 37 hours per week, with flexibility to work outside normal office hours as the role requires.

Key responsibilities:
  • Sales growth: Develop and drive sales systems and initiatives that grow fitness and swim membership across centres.
  • Performance management: Monitor KPIs and sales targets, and foster a strong performance culture among centre teams.
  • Customer experience: Develop digitally-enabled sales and customer journeys, using technology and AI to improve efficiency and outcomes.
  • Leadership: Line manage the Contact Centre Manager and act as a proactive member of the senior management team.
  • Commercial insight: Research industry trends, competitor activity, and pricing to inform new commercial initiatives and revenue growth.
About you:
  • Commercially sharp: A proven track record in sales, customer service, and driving commercial performance, with the business acumen to back it up.
  • A natural communicator: Confident engaging with staff and stakeholders at every level, and comfortable managing multiple priorities under pressure.
  • Digitally capable: Proficient across Microsoft Office and industry systems such as Leisure Management Systems and prospecting or CRM tools.

This is an opportunity for someone to step outside of the day to day life of club operations into a more strategic role.
