We’re looking for a freelance content creator to lead social-first content for Ministry of Sound Games, our fitness-meets-nightlife competition. This is an 8-week contract covering the campaign build-up and first event, with potential to extend.
This role is ideal for someone highly creative, confident on camera, and comfortable owning content strategy. We’ll provide brand guidelines and campaign context, but you’ll have significant creative freedom to shape the narrative and execution.
Key Responsibilities- Content Strategy & Planning: Develop a social-first content plan across Instagram, Meta, and TikTok in the lead-up to the event; Propose content formats, series ideas, and creative concepts beyond standard gym/workout content; Align content with Ministry of Sound Games’ brand tone, audience growth goals, and ticket sales targets.
- Content Creation: Capture, edit, and publish high-quality short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, Stories); Create a mix of content types, including: Training and athlete content; Lifestyle and nightlife crossover content; Community and culture-led storytelling; Guerrilla marketing-style content (e.g. mini-mic interviews, creative street activations, reactive trends).
- Event Coverage: Capture content at the 11 April event (mandatory) and other key campaign moments; Deliver fast-turnaround content during and after events.
- Phone-based content creation experience essential; digital video camera skills are a bonus.
- Highly creative, social-native content creator with strong filming and editing skills.
- Strong understanding of TikTok and Instagram trends, formats, and algorithms.
- Comfortable approaching people and creating guerrilla-style content.
- Able to manage the full content process (concept → shoot → edit).
- Organised, proactive, and comfortable working autonomously.
- Experience creating fitness, lifestyle, nightlife, or event content.
- Strong on-camera presence (for interviews, vox pops, etc.).
- Contract length: 8 weeks (with potential to extend).
- Start date: ASAP.
- Key date: Must be available on 11 April for the first event; occasional weekend work may be required.
