We are recruiting for a fitness job in Worcester for the nation's largest chain. They provide great pathways to develop your fitness career, through opportunities and a learning and development program. This role is a hands-on management position within the fitness industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • People Management – Manage, inspire and lead an Assistant Manager and a team of Personal Trainers.
  • Brand & Operations Management – Ensure the club meets required standards and processes, and brings the brand alive for members.
  • Product – Manage the gym and maintain engagement with members, demonstrating passion for fitness.
  • Commercial – Raise the club's local profile with fitness testing, events, new memberships, personal training and secondary spend.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Background in fitness management – experience as Multi-site General Manager, Club Manager, Fitness Manager, Deputy/Assistant Manager or Sales Manager in the industry.
  • Or, if outside the industry, demonstrated excellence in the above areas with transferable examples; ideally qualified Personal Trainer level 3 (level 2 acceptable).
  • Energy, personality and ambition; strong skillset and character.

Career Path

The role can progress to larger regional manager or cluster manager positions.
