Carlie Barlow Health & Wellbeing are searching for a Sports Coach to join the team in a very exciting new position, responsible for the successful delivery of sports, activities and events on-board an industry-leading Cruise Ship – MSC Cruises. MSC Cruises are committed to delivering industry-leading activities and events, raising the standard of on-board in the travel sector.
Responsibilities of the role:
- Leads and delivers high quality coaching to guests with varying abilities.
- Plans fun, engaging and safe tournaments and sessions to relevant age groups.
- Explains and enforces health and safety rules and regulations.
- Performs regular inventory and upkeep of all equipment and supplies.
- Performs regular health and safety checks of all sports facilities.
- Planning and coordinating the on-board schedule.
- Drives the creation, development, and delivery of sports and activities for passengers.
- Monitors session insights, using feedback to drive a culture of improvement.
- Continuously evaluates processes and procedures and updates when and where necessary to achieve maximum efficiency.
- Supports the development of new products and ideas.
- Liaises with on-board representatives to optimise session delivery.
- Maintains daily information, hours of operation, activities, etc. for the benefit of the guests, adhering to ship requirements.
Qualifications and Skills required:
- Minimum L2 coaching qualification, relevant degree desirable.
- Proven track record in coaching various sports and activities to a high standard.
- Experience in multi-tasking projects, ability to problem-solve.
- Language skills are desirable.
- IT skills such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, or MAC proficient.
