Fitness First has been pioneering the way the UK trains for over thirty years. We've always been one of the biggest names in the business. But now, we're on a mission to remind people why. With significant investment across our club estate and an ambitious vision to lead the future of fitness, this is a brand beginning a bold new chapter. And we're looking for ambitious PTs who want to build their career with us - all while playing a crucial role in-club.
At Fitness First, Personal Training has never been an afterthought. We see it as central to the credibility we're famed for and the reputation we've spent decades building. Our PTs work in premium club environments alongside a team that takes fitness seriously, with access to industry-leading kit and a membership base that shows up for the goals they've committed to smashing. We believe in choosing progress - for our members, for our brand and for the people who represent it. And that's why at Fitness First, we let you PT your own way.
The Hybrid PT model: an industry first. Want the freedom to grow your own business but with the weight of an employed income while you build it? This is the role for you. Our Hybrid PT model gives you everything that comes with our self-employed PT path - the freedom, the client base ownership, the brand behind you - but supersets it with 2 x 5-hour employed shifts a week. It's the best of both, built for PTs who want to be a valuable part of the club, build their profile from the inside and grow a business - just without the pressure of full self-employment from day one.
The best part? Even your paid shifts provide an opportunity to nurture your solo venture. By being involved with the running of the club, teaching classes and playing a key role in onboarding - you'll get to know every part of the Fitness First experience and continuous interaction with members who could become your next long-term clients.
What you'll get:
- A smooth 6-month rent build (the same as our full self-employed PT model) to get your business established without the pressure
- Employed income from 2 x 5-hour shifts per week, giving you a reliable revenue stream while your client base grows
- A self-employed structured onboarding journey
- Branded PT profile across in-club screens, the FF website and app - so members can find and contact you directly
- Lead generation through able, our smart training technology - connecting you with members who are ready to lock in
- Access to our digital marketplace
- Weekly 1-to-1 business support with your Fitness Manager
- Ongoing coaching development through our education team
- Complimentary club membership
- Minimum 2 weeks rent free per year
What we're looking for:
- REPS Level 3 Personal Training qualification (essential)
- A passion for fitness and genuine commitment to delivering an exceptional member experience
- Enthusiasm for getting involved in club life - classes, member onboarding and the day-to-day
- Strong communication skills and an engaging personality
- The drive to build your own PT business alongside your employed role
- A positive, professional approach with members, colleagues and the wider team
Ready to build your business your way? If you're a driven fitness professional looking for a brand that takes Personal Training as seriously as you do - and a model that genuinely works in your favour - we're ready to hear from you.
