Our client is a premier, high-end fitness brand known for distinct culture, exceptional service standards, and premium member experiences. Combining commercial rigour with a genuine enthusiasm for fitness, they operate elite facilities that foster an energetic, welcoming environment for members, guests, and employees alike.

We are now recruiting for a commercially minded and results-oriented Head of Sales to join our senior team. In this pivotal role, you will own the full sales strategy across residential and corporate memberships, lead from the front, and build a high-performing sales culture. Working hand in hand with the General Manager and senior leadership, you will ensure our revenue growth is structured, measurable, and consistently delivered.

  • Sales strategy & Corporate development: Develop and own the annual sales strategy across all residential membership tiers and corporate accounts across our locations. Create and implement structured outreach programmes, repeatable sales processes (lead generation, qualification, pipeline management, closing frameworks), and seasonal campaigns. Partner with the Head of Marketing to align campaigns with digital, event, and content activity. Build and maintain a pipeline of corporate accounts, leading pitches and corporate wellness partnership negotiations. Identify new revenue and upselling opportunities (PT, specialist programmes, premium tiers) within the existing member base and external channels.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 4 Sales Managers across both sites. Set individual and team sales targets aligned with the company P&L, and conduct structured weekly one-to-ones to review pipelines, performance, and mindset. Deliver regular briefings, training sessions, and role-play exercises to sharpen sales skills. Design and implement commission and incentive structures that reward performance and foster a culture of accountability and ambition.
  • Financial Management: Track, analyse, and report on key sales KPIs (lead volume, conversion rates, retention, revenue per channel) weekly and monthly. Provide accurate sales forecasting and conduct monthly audits of active member accounts. Collaborate with Operations and Front of House teams to ensure a seamless member journey. Represent the sales function at weekly management meetings, contributing to the broader business strategy and sharing market trends.

About you:

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years' sales experience within the fitness, leisure, or premium hospitality industry, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding individual and team sales targets.
  • Leadership: Proven experience managing, developing, and inspiring a sales team.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of residential and corporate membership sales processes; proficient with CRM systems (HubSpot or equivalent).
  • Attributes: Commission-driven mindset with a hunger to close; highly energetic, upbeat, and positive; outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Commercial Acumen: Data literate and comfortable reading P&L reports, pipeline data, and conversion metrics.

Desirable:

  • Experience operating within a multi-site sales environment.
  • An existing network within the London corporate wellness sector.
  • A personal interest in fitness, health, or sport (ideally as an active participant).
  • Experience designing commission structures and incentive schemes.
