Our Vision & Teaching Style
Palm St Pilates will be a dynamic Reformer‑led studio, offering energising, modern classes that blend strength, flow and contemporary movement. Instructors are encouraged to bring their own personality, creativity and flair, while teaching safely and remaining aligned with our dynamic style, so members experience consistency across instructors. We will be able to offer Jumpboard classes, and in time Tower, plus the occasional Mat, Yoga or Barre session to complement our timetable.
Class Formats & Programming Approach
- Beginner/Foundation: Building confidence, technique and correct movement patterns
- Standard Dynamic Reformer: With regressions and progressions for all levels
Early on, we expect a high volume of beginners to Reformer and to the studio, so quality coaching and confidence‑building will be key.
Timetable & Growth Opportunity
Launching with a consistent weekday structure to support growth: 6am & 7am, 9.30am, 12.30pm, 6pm & 7pm. Weekends: 8am, 9am, 10am. We will remain structured with timings so that we can easily scale and add more classes (e.g. 5pm, 8am, 8pm) as demand increases. Expectation is that instructors who join early will grow with us – for example, starting with 2 classes per week and growing to 3–4+ quickly as membership builds. Weekend afternoons will be reserved for workshops, events, training, and community activities.
The Team & Culture We’re Building
We want instructors who are excited to shape and grow with the studio – not just teach. A collaborative, supportive team culture is important to us – sharing ideas, learning together and elevating the member experience. We’d love instructors who are open to being part of our brand presence, including occasional social media involvement to promote themselves and the studio in an authentic, aligned way.
What We’re Looking For in Our Instructors
- Passionate about Dynamic Reformer and confident delivering fun, energising and safe classes.
- Professional, reliable and committed to building a positive member community.
- Excited to grow with a new studio, help shape its identity and be part of something from the foundations up.
