We are seeking an ambitious and commercially minded part time Fitness Operations Manager to play a key role in the development of the Hooke Fitness brand, the management of our wellness operations, and the delivery of an outstanding client experience.

The Role: The Fitness Operations Manager will oversee the operational and administrative responsibilities of Hooke Fitness. Working closely with the Health & Performance Director, you will ensure the smooth running of the wellness space, manage a team of freelance professionals, support business growth initiatives, and help drive the continued development of the Hooke Fitness brand. The successful candidate will combine strong operational and organisational skills with a passion for health, fitness and customer experience.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Operations & Client Experience: Oversee the day‑to‑day operation of the wellness space, ensuring high standards across facilities, services and client experience. Act as the main point of contact for staff, clients and prospective clients.
  • Finance & Administration: Manage payment, booking and reporting systems across Hooke Fitness. Support wider business administration and operational projects as required.
  • Brand Growth & Marketing: Support the implementation of sales, marketing and client engagement strategies. Help manage and develop Hooke Fitness social media channels and website content.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and support a team of freelance personal trainers and therapists. Ensure team members operate professionally and in line with company standards. Oversee scheduling, bookings and other operational requirements.

About You:

  • Essential Skills & Experience:
  • Experience managing fitness, wellness, hospitality or service‑based operations.
  • Previous experience and fluency in using Mindbody operational software (essential).
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience managing schedules, bookings or operational systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience managing people or external contractors.
  • Competent with digital systems, such as Microsoft Office and online platforms.
  • Desirable Skills & Experience:
  • Personal Training qualification and experience delivering personal training sessions (desirable but not essential – there is potential for personal training opportunities alongside the role for the right person).
  • Experience managing social media platforms and website content.
  • Experience working within a premium fitness, wellness or health environment.
  • Knowledge of fitness, recovery and wellbeing services.
