As Facilities Manager, you are responsible for ensuring we are delivering on the promise of being an exceptional in-studio experience, every single day. The role requires you to be macro + micro in your mindset; always being able to see the bigger picture whilst having an eagle-eye for every little detail at ground level. It all matters. You are in our studios every day; and you are ensuring that we are holding ourselves to the highest standards in the following areas:
- Daily studio cleanliness
- Studio equipment maintenance
- Overarching health + safety & compliance
- Monthly deep cleaning
- Reactive and preventative maintenance
Working 5 days, across the 7 day week, the role includes working some weekends, and evening work.
Responsibilities:
- Working to a timetable to complete preventative maintenance, standards and safety compliance tasks.
- Regular maintenance of Coreformers (plus supporting equipment hand weights, Pilates rings, ropes, straps).
- Responding to studio emergencies where repairs and/or troubleshooting are needed.
- Planned preventative maintenance studio repairs to equipment, plant and decoration.
- Supporting with daily onsite cleaning and spot checks where needed.
- Supporting, with external contractors.
- Managing studio inventory.
Qualifications:
- You can perform a variety of maintenance duties with skill, and can confidently identify problems.
- You are skilled in handling preventative maintenance, basic repairs, cosmetic upkeep and simple appliance installations, ability to handle power tools and maintenance related machinery.
- You have an eye for a quality finish, with attention to detail.
- You are tidy as you work, knowing that our studios are always in action.
- You have a creative, and solutions-orientated mindset.
- You have excellent communication skills and work with others.
- You have the mental flexibility to adapt your schedule to the changing needs of the business, i.e. prioritising urgent tasks.
- You are physically strong, knowing that the role requires agility and strength to move equipment etc.
- You are hardworking and are an inherently self-motivated person.
