Love Green Heat Pumps is looking for a skilled and reliable Heat Pump Engineer to support the installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of heat pump systems in residential properties.
The successful candidate will help deliver efficient, reliable heating solutions while maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety and customer service.
Key duties and responsibilities:
- Install air source heat pump systems and associated heating components.
- Carry out routine servicing, inspections, maintenance and fault diagnosis.
- Identify and resolve technical issues with heat pump systems.
- Test systems to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Follow relevant UK building regulations, health and safety requirements, and manufacturer guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and report any issues.
- Communicate professionally with customers and colleagues.
- Keep tools, equipment and work areas safe and organised.
Relevant experience in heat pump installation, servicing, maintenance and fault diagnosis; knowledge of air source heat pumps, domestic heating systems, UK building regulations and health and safety requirements; strong technical, practical and problem-solving skills; good communication and customer service skills; and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Qualifications and certifications: Relevant qualification in Plumbing, Heating, HVAC, Mechanical Engineering or Refrigeration and Air Conditioning. Heat pump installation and maintenance training is desirable. G3 Unvented Hot Water and F-Gas certifications are required where applicable to the duties performed. Relevant manufacturer training and a valid UK driving licence are advantageous.
