We're looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Marketing & Social Media Intern to join our growing team and help us connect more Sikh singles on their journey towards finding love.
Key Responsibilities
1. Social Media & Content Creation
- Create and schedule engaging posts for Instagram and other social media platforms.
- Help develop creative content, including reels, stories and graphics.
- Support marketing campaigns to increase awareness and engagement.
- Contribute fresh ideas to help grow the Sikhi Match community.
2. Community Engagement & Messages
- Respond to Instagram messages, enquiries and comments in a friendly, professional manner.
- Help potential clients understand our matchmaking services.
- Engage with our growing Sikh community online.
- Ensure enquiries are followed up and directed to the appropriate team members.
3. Administration & Organisation
- Support daily administrative tasks.
- Help organise client enquiries and matchmaking information.
- Maintain accurate records and update spreadsheets.
- Assist with scheduling calls and managing communications.
- Handle sensitive client information with confidentiality and care.
Who We're Looking For
Essential Skills
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- A genuine passion for marketing, social media and content creation.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organised, reliable and proactive.
- Comfortable using Instagram and digital platforms.
- Willingness to learn and contribute new ideas.
Desirable Skills
- Previous marketing or social media experience.
- Experience using Canva, CapCut or similar creative tools.
- Understanding of Sikh values, traditions and culture.
- Awareness of Sikh approaches to marriage, family and relationships.
- Experience in customer service or responding to online enquiries.
