As part of our ongoing commitment to enhancing our learning culture, we are looking for a dedicated Learning Specialist to join our Learning & Development team.
This role will be pivotal in understanding business learning needs, delivering impactful training solutions, and maintaining both in-person and digital training materials. The Learning Specialist will play a key role in supporting our teammates with relevant and engaging learning experiences that drive success.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Partnering with business areas to assess learning needs and develop tailored training solutions that align with business objectives.
- You will work closely with managers and key stakeholders to identify skills gaps and development opportunities, ensuring training programs support LOVE’s immediate and long-term goals.
- Working closely with key stakeholders to understand performance gaps and designing targeted learning interventions to address them.
- Through consultation, analysis, and collaboration, you will identify the root causes of performance issues and develop solutions that improve productivity and engagement.
- Delivering engaging face-to-face and virtual training sessions to support teammate development.
- Facilitate interactive workshops, webinars, and coaching sessions that enhance skills and knowledge while ensuring learning is practical and applicable in day-to-day roles.
- Ensuring all training programs are effective, measuring learning outcomes, and reporting on training impact.
- Develop and utilise evaluation tools to track the effectiveness of training interventions, using feedback and data to continuously refine and enhance learning experiences.
- Frequently supporting our Sales Academy, working alongside the Academy Manager to deliver targeted sales training and development programs.
- Support the professional growth of our new teammates by designing and implementing training that improves sales techniques, customer engagement, and drives overall team performance.
- Creating and maintaining learning materials, resources, and digital content.
- Ensure all training materials are up to date, engaging, and easily accessible, leveraging a variety of formats including videos, e-learning modules, and interactive content.
- Coaching and mentoring teammates to support their career progression and personal development.
- Provide one-on-one coaching sessions and ongoing mentorship to help teammates reach their full potential and align their growth with business needs.
- Collaborating with subject matter experts (SMEs) to design and refine training content that reflects industry trends and best practices.
- Work with internal and external partners to ensure training programs remain relevant, innovative, and aligned with LOVE’s evolving business requirements.
- Championing a culture of continuous learning and professional growth across LOVE.
- Promote learning opportunities, encourage self-development, and support initiatives that drive a strong learning culture at LOVE.
Requirements & Skills
- Strong consultation and influencing skills that demonstrate credibility and builds trust.
- A breadth of coaching techniques, with the ability to adapt approaches to suit different learning styles and development needs.
- Proven experience in delivering engaging training sessions in a fast-paced business environment.
- Excellent facilitation and presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across different teams.
- Passion for learning and development, with a proactive approach to improving teammate learning experiences.
