Bolton / Hybrid (37.5 hours per week)

Salary:£27,000
OTE:£45,000 – Uncapped Commission

If building relationships and spotting sales opportunities is your thing, this role is made for you.

We’re looking for someone who can build genuine connections and knows how to manage and grow a customer pipeline. You’ll reconnect with existing customers to uncover new opportunities and hand over hot leads to our expert closers.

A Bit About Us

We’re the UK’s favourite Utilities Retailer, helping businesses save on their utilities. Since our launch in 2007, we\’ve helped more than 500,000 UK businesses switch energy suppliers and save over £150,000,000!

A Bit About the Role

As a Customer Account Manager, you’ll be at the heart of the customer experience, building lasting connections, supporting customers throughout, and finding ways to add value and grow revenue through a genuinely helpful service. You’ll make 150–200 outbound calls daily, spending 3–4 hours in meaningful conversations. Most outreach will be by phone, with some email follow-up as needed.

A Bit About You

You’ll have an extensive background and proven track record in building and managing long term customer relationships.

You’ll have a sharp instinct for spotting opportunities given your knack in reading customer behaviour, shaping conversations, and knowing when to push or step back.

You thrive in a sales environment, building strong connections with customers through a personable and results-driven approach.

You’re confident managing your own pipeline but also enjoy working with a team to share insights and celebrate wins.

This role isn’t about cold outreach; it’s about growing relationships and spotting real value in existing customer accounts. You’ll have worked in an account management, retention, or customer success role previously and you’re confident having strategic conversations rather than just pushing for quick wins.

You understand business needs, manage your own follow-ups, and always aim to grow the customer relationship – not just close the next sale! You’ll also have experience using a CRM in an outbound customer service or call centre environment (B2B or B2C).
