This is a pivotal hire. As the agency enters its next phase of growth, we need an SEO Manager who can take full ownership of delivery - leading the team, driving client results, and giving the CEO the platform to focus on winning new business.

You’ll be the senior voice on all things organic. Technical SEO, content strategy, on-page, off-page - you’ll shape how the agency delivers across every channel and every client. This isn’t a role where you’re handed a playbook. You’ll help write it.

The CEO has spent his career building leading digital agencies and taking them all the way through to acquisition. He knows exactly what it takes to grow an agency - and now he’s applying that expertise to his own. The opportunity here is significant, and £50,000 is just the starting point. For the right person, the earning potential, equity and career trajectory that come with this role are something most agencies simply can’t offer.

We’re looking for someone who thinks like a partner, not just an employee - someone who recognises a genuine opportunity when they see one and wants to be part of building something from the ground up.

The Role

As SEO Manager you’ll lead the agency’s organic output end-to-end, across both technical SEO and content - majority content. With circa 80% of your focus on delivery and strategy, you’ll be the person clients trust, the person the team looks to, and the person who ensures the work is always exceptional. The CEO will be out building the business. You’ll be making sure it runs - and runs brilliantly.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading all SEO delivery across client accounts - technical, content and organic strategy combined
  • Acting as the senior point of contact for clients, owning relationships and results
  • Managing, mentoring and developing the team - setting the standard and helping others reach it
  • Shaping the agency’s SEO proposition and internal processes as the business scales
  • Staying ahead of developments in search, AI and digital - and bringing those insights into the work
  • Working directly with the CEO as a trusted operational partner

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven SEO experience, ideally within an agency environment
  • Strong across both technical SEO and content strategy - you understand how they work together
  • A natural leader who earns trust quickly with clients and colleagues alike
  • Someone who takes ownership without needing to be managed
  • Commercially minded - you understand the link between great work and business growth
  • Ambitious. You want to build something, not just maintain it

What’s on Offer

  • £50,000 salary
  • Genuine equity for the right person - this is a long-term partnership, not just a job
  • A leadership role from day one, with direct input into how the agency is built
  • Close working relationship with a CEO who has a proven track record of building leading agencies through to acquisition - and is now doing it for himself
  • Real autonomy - trusted to lead, not micromanaged
  • Full training and ongoing development
  • Free parking
