Leading Children’s Play and Sport Provision Company in Colchester and surrounding area.
Provision Hours: 7:30-9am and 3pm-6pm Monday to Friday (Weekly hours can be flexible based on individual availability).
£10-£13 per hour (depending on age, experience and qualifications).
Please note: Due to the remote location of some schools, the ability to drive will be advantageous.
We are recruiting for a leading provider of out of school hours and wraparound childcare for primary school children in Essex. This company continues to grow in size, quality and scope every year and is looking for someone who has either ad-hoc or regular availability to join their team.
As a Casual/Bank Play Worker you don’t need any specific skills, but you will ideally have some experience working with children and:
- A Passion for Working with Children: Provide inclusive, fun, and engaging provision for the children in your care, while inspiring them to explore their interests.
- Enthusiasm and Organisation Skills: Assist with the planning and delivery of activities with structure and enthusiasm. This includes a wide range of activities, including multi-sports, indoor and outdoor games, arts & crafts, downtime and structured play.
- Responsibility and Reliability: The safety and enjoyment of the children in your care will be your responsibility. All team members are required to follow specific policies and procedures, including completing Accident and Incident Forms and Health & Safety checks as needed.
- Communication and Engagement: Conduct yourself professionally and communicate effectively with all team members, parents, children and schools on a daily basis. You will be a representative of the organisation's brand.
