Provision Hours: 3pm-4:30pm Monday to Friday
Pay: £10-£13 per hour (depending on age, experience and qualifications)
Please note: Due to the remote location of some schools, the ability to drive will be advantageous.
We are recruiting for a leading provider of out of school hours and wraparound childcare for primary school children in Essex. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and passionate about children’s sport, play and activity, and someone who can inspire the generation of children!
This role offers the opportunity to gain experience delivering after school sports sessions to primary age children within a wraparound club environment. As a Sports Coach in this role, you only need to have knowledge and a love of sports as well as:
- A Passion for Working with Children: Provide inclusive, fun, and engaging provision for the children in your care, while inspiring them to explore their interests.
- Enthusiasm and Organisation Skills: Assist with the planning and delivery of activities with structure and enthusiasm, including multi-sports, indoor and outdoor games, arts & crafts, downtime and structured play.
- Responsibility and Reliability: Ensure the safety and enjoyment of the children in your care, follow specific policies and procedures, including completing Accident and Incident Forms and Health & Safety checks as needed.
- Communication and Engagement: Conduct yourself professionally and communicate effectively with all team members, parents, children and schools on a daily basis.
