Amazing opportunity to make a difference! We are recruiting for the leading provider of out of school and wraparound childcare for primary school children in Dorset. This company continues to grow in size, quality and scope every year and are looking for someone who is passionate about children’s play and activity to join their team to run a brand new provision in Christchurch. This provision is not due to fully open until the Summer term in 2026 so a potential start date is very flexible and if you're available immediately, you will benefit from spending time observing and supporting other Wraparound Managers within the business prior to launching your clubs.
As a Wraparound Club Manager you will manage the day-to-day aspects of running breakfast and after school clubs at your school from scheduling, people management, cost control, and all stakeholder relationships, including the school and parents. You will also have the opportunity to work in the holidays as part of activity and sports camps (if available) and have the option of additional hours delivering lunchtime clubs too.
As a School Club Manager, you will ideally have experience in:
- Leading a Team – understanding that you need to be firm but fair, genuine and heartfelt, and respect everyone's differences and uniqueness.
- Leading Performance – setting clear goals, having out-of-the-box thinking, and being confident making decisions.
- Strategic Thinking – listening to customers, parents, schools and, most importantly, the children in your care to create the best experiences.
- Leading You – seeking and embracing feedback from others, being calm under pressure, and doing everything possible to exceed expectations.
- Leading Play & Activities – creating a fun, energetic, playful, structured environment for children to grow and develop.
This organisation has strong values and a rich history of supporting professional and personal development of their staff, leading to full-time opportunities and possibly even the opportunity to operate your own franchise in the future!
