We are supporting a UK‑leading nursery and childcare provider in finding an experienced Deputy Nursery Manager. This group operates over 40 nurseries across London, all rated Ofsted Outstanding or Good, with a unique focus on positive social impact in the communities they serve.
Rated Outstanding by Ofsted, this nursery in the Queens Park area is a bright, roomy nursery with plenty of space for all‑weather outdoor activities. Every day is different here with the children enjoying science experiments, yoga, growing vegetables in the greenhouse, messy arts play, woodwork, and more! They also have a sensory room for babies. The nursery is also proud to have been awarded the Silver Award from the Healthy Early Years London scheme, which supports and recognises achievements in child health, wellbeing and development in early years settings.
The Deputy Manager role is generally 80% room based and 20% office based so you will need to remain passionate about being actively involved in day‑to‑day operations supporting your teams, as well as be confident and comfortable with supporting the Nursery Manager to manage, improve, and grow the nursery behind the scenes.
The nursery is less than one mile from Kensal Rise, Kensal Green, Queens Park and Westbourne Park stations and moments from Fifth Avenue and Ladbroke Grove/Kilburn Lane bus stops on the 18, 28, and 228 bus routes.
Staff benefits include:
- Ongoing training and clear promotion pathways
- 7% employer pension contribution (only 1% from you)
