Role Summary

As a Housing Support Worker, you will provide specialized person-centered support, assist with daily living activities, and help individuals achieve their personal goals. You will play a vital role in empowering adults to live independently and confidently in their own homes and within the community. This could include days or trips out, shopping, social clubs and fun activities and helping them to develop valuable skills in their own environment such as cooking, cleaning and attending to any personal care that may be required.

Ideal Candidate

  • Resourceful and to be able to demonstrate a ‘can do’ attitude with consistency and patience.
  • Able to show you can build a good rapport and relationships with a wide variety of people.
  • The ambition to grow and develop your skills within a supportive environment.
  • Ability to empower and inspire confidence in others.Knowledge and understanding of ‘safeguarding’ with vulnerable adults.

Experience in dealing with vulnerable adults with Autism or Learning disabilities would be advantageous – personal or professional, however not essential as we provide our staff with ongoing mentoring, training, and development opportunities to provide you with an exciting and rewarding career path.
