Location: Padstow Holiday Village

Pay: c.£29,000 per annum

Hours: Full time (40 hours per week)

Days: 5 days a week, including weekends

We are looking for someone to help our grounds and gardens look tip top. As a Grounds and Maintenance Team Member, you’ll help maintain the park’s beautiful surroundings, carry out general repairs, and ensure our grounds, facilities and holiday homes are kept in top condition for our guests and owners.

What will you do?

  • Planting of park planters and bedding areas, together with pruning and maintenance of plants, hedges, shrubs and trees to seasonal schedules, watering of hanging baskets, hayracks and summer bedding
  • Ensuring park grounds, roadways, paths, bins, bin bays and public areas are clean and free from litter and loose debris
  • Traditional trades work, including plumbing, minor electrics and woodworking
  • Holiday home/lodge repairs and general park maintenance
  • Hard landscaping activities
  • Assisting in the moving and siting of holiday homes
  • Maintain and repair all fencing, trellis work, walls and signage, etc
  • Completing daily site walks and having active guest interaction, as well as undertaking aftersales checks and repairs as required
  • Working collaboratively across the whole park team

What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who has experience in carrying out grounds and maintenance tasks to a high standard. You may have planned and delivered annual routine maintenance tasks as well as general gardening tasks. You will enjoy interacting with guests and working in a customer-service environment. Most importantly you will be self-motivated and have experience of working in a team to support your colleagues to deliver. Plumbing experience would be advantageous. A full driving licence is a requirement of the role.
