As a Maintenance, Grounds and Planting Team Member, you’ll help maintain the park’s beautiful surroundings, keeping it tidy and visually appealing, carrying out general repairs and gardening. You’ll have a knowledge of floriography and ensure our facilities and holiday homes are kept in top condition for our guests and owners.

What will you do?
- Planting of park planters and bedding areas, together with pruning and maintenance of plants, hedges, shrubs and trees to seasonal schedules, watering of hanging baskets, hayracks and summer bedding
- Developing and maintaining flower beds
- Ensuring park grounds, roadways, paths, bins, bin bays and public areas are clean and free from litter and loose debris
- Carry out traditional routine trades work, including plumbing, minor electrics, joinery and woodworking
- Holiday home/lodge repairs and general park maintenance
- Hard landscaping activities
- Assisting in the moving and siting of holiday homes
- Maintain and repair all fencing, trellis work, walls and signage, etc
- Completing daily site walks and having active guest interaction, as well as undertaking aftersales checks and repairs as required
- Working collaboratively across the whole park team with occasional requirement to work at our other Cornwall parks.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who has experience in carrying out grounds and maintenance tasks to a high standard. You may have planned and delivered annual routine maintenance tasks as well as have a knowledge of floriography and be well practiced in gardening and planting. Knowledge of fertilisers and general repairs to equipment would be advantageous. Experience of garden & grounds maintenance, will have a keen eye for detail, good people skills, basic horticultural knowledge and must be well organised. The ability to work as part of a team is also essential as is self-motivation, enthusiasm and reliability. You will enjoy interacting with guests and working in a customer-service environment. Most importantly you will be self-motivated and have experience of working in a team to support your colleagues.
