Lovable is scaling its commercial engine across self-serve and enterprise customers. You will own revenue recognition, billing accuracy, and the systems that underpin it all — building the financial foundation for one of the fastest-growing AI companies in the world.

Lovable lets anyone and everyone build software with any language. From solopreneurs to Fortune 100 teams, millions of people use Lovable to transform raw ideas into real products - fast. We are at the forefront of a foundational shift in software creation, which means you have an unprecedented opportunity to change the way the digital world works. Over 2 million people in 200+ countries already use Lovable to launch businesses, automate work, and bring their ideas to life. And we’re just getting started.

We’re a small, talent-dense team building a generation-defining company from Stockholm. We value extreme ownership, high velocity, and low-ego collaboration. We seek out people who care deeply, ship fast, and are eager to make a dent in the world.

As our Revenue Accountant, you will be the owner of everything revenue — from Stripe billing and self-serve recognition through to complex enterprise B2B contracts and milestone-based recognition schedules. You will sit at the intersection of Finance, Sales, Engineering, and Customer teams, acting as both a technical accounting expert and a pragmatic operator who can build and improve the systems around you.

Whether you are a sharp Revenue Accountant ready to step into broad ownership, or a Revenue Accounting Manager who wants to get hands-on at a high-growth AI company, this role has been designed to stretch and reward talent at both levels.

What You’ll Own
  • Own Stripe end-to-end from a Finance perspective — billing logic, invoicing, revenue data, and JEs across self-serve and enterprise.
  • Ensure accurate, scalable billing and revenue flows across both revenue streams; own enterprise invoicing across Light and Stripe.
  • Partner with Engineering and Finance Systems to define and evolve billing and revenue infrastructure, including automation of deferrals, schedules, and reporting outputs.
  • Own revenue recognition for enterprise contracts end-to-end — policy, technical judgment, and audit support — in accordance with ASC 606 / IFRS 15.
  • Ensure clean, reliable revenue data flows into Finance systems and financial reporting.
  • Own AR as a control function: invoicing accuracy, collections inputs, and reconciliations.
  • Act as the primary interface between Finance, Sales, Customer teams, and Engineering on all revenue matters.
  • Own the revenue engine within Finance from billing through to financial reporting — a seat at the table, not just a back-office function.
What You Bring
  • Strong grounding in SaaS and enterprise revenue recognition (ASC 606 / IFRS 15) — you can own policy, exercise judgment, and support auditors.
  • CA or CPA professional qualification.
  • AI-native operator: you actively use tools like Claude or ChatGPT to automate, scale, and rethink finance workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with Stripe or a comparable billing platform — comfortable partnering with engineers on the logic, not just the output.
  • Comfortable across both self-serve / subscription and contract-based enterprise revenue models.
  • High ownership mindset: you build structure where none exists and operate confidently in ambiguity.
  • Clear communicator with strong stakeholder management skills across Finance, Sales, and Engineering.
  • Detail-oriented but pragmatic — you balance accuracy and speed without sacrificing either.
  • Background in high-growth tech, SaaS, or AI — you know what fast looks like.
Nice-to-Haves
  • CA or CPA professional qualification.
  • Experience with Light (or similar AR/billing tools) and NetSuite or equivalent ERP.
  • Familiarity with usage-based or consumption-based billing models.
  • Exposure to SOX 404 or audit-readiness work — useful as we scale.
  • Experience managing or mentoring junior finance team members.
